The questions must be answered in the form of an essay, and the questions will come from a variety of subjects that are related to

Ø  jurisprudence,

Ø  neutrality,

Ø  international law,

Ø  recent legislation,

Ø  Indian Constitutional law, and developments.

Ø  The candidate will be given a passage written in English, and they will be expected to translate it using the Devnagri script into an everyday language that is commonly used in courts. – 30 Marks

Ø  A passage in Hindi should be translated into ordinary English language – 30 Marks

Ø  English Precis writing – 40 Marks

Ø  The law of contracts

Ø  the law of Partnership

Ø  the law concerning easements and torts,

Ø  the Law relating to transfer of property including the principles of equity, specifically

applicable thereto

Ø  the principal of Equity with special reference to the Law of trust and specific relief,

Ø  Hindu Law and Mohammedan Law

Ø  Code of Civil Procedure

Ø  Evidence of witnesses

Ø  Framing of charges

Ø  Practical matters

Ø  Principles of pleading

Ø  The conduct of cases

Ø  The Criminal Procedure Code

Ø  The Law of Evidence

Ø  The writing of judgment

Ø  Indian Penal Code

Ø  Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition  (as applicable in Uttarakhand)

Microsoft Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office (Maximum Marks – 100; Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained – 40; Time allowed: One Hour).

The paper shall be set from the given syllabus broadly taking one question from each i.e. – (1) Windows and internet. (2) M.S. – word. (3) M.S. – Access. (4) M.S. – Excel and (5) M.S. – Power Point.

Each question will consist of five different actions to be carried out on the system, and each of those actions will be worth four marks. It is required that a printout of the output be taken and submitted for review.
